Every single time I am scheduled to meet in Chicago the traffic is a little less cooperative but there is something about the city that has a hold on my heart (it could also be the empanadas).

Anne + Dave are anticipating the arrival of their second baby boy in a few weeks and I feel so honored to be there person to capture another tremendous life moment for their little family.

Nothing quite like driving to a busy city but finding a slice of quiet and nature right in the middle of it all. West Ridge Nature Park has all of this: a fun boardwalk, pond and nature playground perfect for little families to escape the busy city life. If you’re feeling really adventurous (or need a bathroom) the taco joint across the street has some of the best tacos I’ve ever had.
